Antyway… the 1910s are featured in the latest by Kaia Danielle. This series is meaningful to me in more ways than one. I like to read fictional accounts of black love during a time when society wasn’t so kind to black folks. I know when I think of the 1910s, I’m thanking God that I wasn’t alive during that time. These stories show that our love and successes were just as much an act of defiance as they were ones of survival. Whew…I’m emotional…Let’s get to the story, shall we?
